Custom FX chains contribute to the signature sound of a mixer, and are part of how he makes his vocals sound unique and special. Dealing with complex effect chains and routing can be overwhelming, and frequently one ends up totally lost between minor options slightly changing a little something rather than dealing with the big picture, the whole track, the music.
